活在差不多的边缘 又是差不多的一年
有着差不多的绝望 做着差不多的梦
There was a girl who
believed fervently and doggedly in the lit passions of the heart. She
carves out the words into her bleeding heart. Like blades, they pierced
into her ribs, carving into every vein. It was a dogged mark of
rebellion, a stubborn promise in the resolute non-changing nature of the
heart - shaped, formed & fixed. What was the ingrained quote again?
I think she is dying. Her first love affair was an echo of
the past. She had been very fond of everything; the wonder and natural
curiosity led her everywhere and she had vowed to always carry that
torch of awe and curiosity within her. Nothing ever fazes her now. Now,
it flies by her and she is left behind. All her early adulthood was
learning to leave behind the idealism of her past, the naivety of the
little girl, the wonder and awe. They were all the in past and her heart is
hardening into stone. She remembered the wicked satisfaction and
triumph of smashing the little girl into nothingness. That warped
coerced belief that it was better to be resolute, to be practical, to
belong to the society’s ideal - pliable, hardworking, unquestionable
worker. To yearn for an ordinary life, an ordinary home, an ordinary
year, an ordinary dream. To yearn for anything more is blasphemy; a
mortal man playing God. So it’s better to be pliable and ordinary.
Risking everything to reach for the heavens will only cost you. It’s a
zero sum game after all.
我是差不多先生 我的差不多是天生
What was the quote again? You ask. “When we grow up, our hearts die”
