Last week, I attended Alter Bridge concert with M. My ears went into a comatose state of paralysis after the concert but it was well worth it. When they started playing, the whole floor started thundering and shaking with an incredible might – what a night!
Days flying by; essays flying by, tests flying by. Life has an uncanny way of flying by and eating you up such that it will be all you are left with; after haggard timed years of aging, musing and mulling on your existence or in sum, a typical Sylvia Plath’s rhetoric of “What have you done, what have you done?”? I refuse to do nothing – fears override me and sometimes, when I am afraid and insecure, all I would love to do is to cuddle and hide under M’s warm embraces; hoping that the uncertainties of the world will pass away (even if they may not) but when one dwells and depends too much on another for comfort and in creating “I”, one does away “I” in the process. I refuse to be overridden with fears, and I too refuse to do away with “I”.
P.S Boo... I shall get back to my theatre essay and Nanyang Art assignment.
