"Meeting people – to her – felt like an exercise of discomforts. The unfamiliarity and darkness of the ambience-staged room was portentous. To put it flatly, she was like a deer lost in a cave full of tigers (or so she had believed). The humongous cave and tavern of danger called New York City was a city believed and paraded to be the hub where dreams are made. It’s easy to get lost in the dream for the city was sprawling with tigers, ambitious and ferocious and cruel in their ambitions. There was no space for a deer. Especially so to be a deer in the headlights, bedazzled by the kaleidoscopic diversity of lights and people. To be one was almost like being the protagonist in a tragicomic finale. It was inertia that kept her there, that willed her to trudge into the never-ending winter and into a hole in the wall in Chelsea."

This blog is like a "mimesis" as much as it is supposed to be diegetic.

So here is an attempt at "diegesis": https://tinyletter.com/nicothyun
